Local events are organized for the enjoyment of the people, a perfect opportunity for hardworking people during the week to blow off some steam! Tickets are always available and affordable! There are always many events to choose from and October’s schedule is as follows:
The Macedonian Philharmonic was recently built and regularly organizes events from national and international symphonic orchestras. This month there will be two events there, one on the 10th of October at 8pm by conductor Emil Tabakovand soloist Gjorgji Cincievski who will be performing E. Tabakov: Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra & G. Holst: The Planets. The second event will be held on the 19th of October at 8pm by conductor Gustav Kuhn, soloists Sophia Gordeladze- soprano, Marta Lotti-mezzosoprano, George Vincent Humphrey- tenor, Michael Kupfer-Radecky- bass baritone, and Choir: Philharmonic choir “Svetoslav Obretenov” (Bulgaria), ProArs Choir (Macedonia) who will be performing L. van Beethoven – Symphony no. 9.
The Macedonian Opera and Ballet has updated its schedule as well: Libertango (Ballet) on the 3rd of October at 8pm, “Cavalleria Rusticana” – Pietro Mascagni on the 10th of October at 8pm,TheLady of The Camellias – Giuseppe Verdi on the 16th of October at 8pm, “La Bohème” – Giacomo Puccini on the 24th of October at 8pm, and Swan Lake – P. I. Tchaikovsky on the 30th of October at 8pm.

If you want a more relaxed atmosphere Croatian-Slovenian cellist duo, 2 Cellos, will be performing in Skopje VIP Arena on the 6th of October starting at 9pm (buy tickets here: https://www.kupikartizase.com/ ).
However, if you would like a more upbeat event then the Skopje Vinyl Convention 2018 is the perfect event for you, it is organized for the second year in a row, this year DJ KOCO a.k.a. SHIMOKITA from Tokyo, Japan will be performing! Amazing the crowd with his fantastic beats. The price of the ticket is 300 mkd. There will be two events for sports enthusiasts or people that like sports as a hobby. Skopje Run 10K will be held on the 7th of October starting at 9am. If you want to have fun and register then just follow the link: http://skopje.run/page5.html. For the daredevils and adventurous types, we suggest Green Paths Fest 2018, a three-day bicycle camp in Lesnovo from the 12th to the 13th of October.
In addition, if you want guaranteed fun and enjoyment then Sure Shotz Entertainment and MKC (the Youth Cultural Center), supported by Park Hotel & Spa are organizing just the event you’re looking for! Presenting one of the most qualified Hip-Hop DJs and producers of all time, Jazzy Jeff. The Magnificent Dj Jazzy Jeff will peform in Skopje on the 22nd of October starting at 8:30pm. He will be locally supported by Shorty P, Irie Scratch, Geto Rudi, and Druggy, and a special guest from Croatia – Dj Phat Phillie.
